The Cassandra Walker Scholarship Fund

The Cassandra Walker Scholarship Fund was created in memory of a young woman who worked as a tile setter in the construction trades!

The fund has established the two following scholarships:

  • Individuals seeking advancement or entrance into the construction industry.

The scholarships are for individuals currently enrolled or wanting to advance their education in the trades/certificated education/training/etc. in the construction industry.

There will be at minimum five $750 scholarships awarded to Individuals seeking advancement or entrance into the construction industry.

** An applicant is eligible to apply for both scholarship awards.

Applicants must be a minimum of 18 years of age, reside in San Diego, Orange, or Riverside Counties, and submit a completed application, including proof of enrollment and letters of recommendation, no later than April 10th, 2024.
